This winter, discover the new edition of our winter outdoor treasure hunt "Winter Store Fronts".
The adventure takes you on a ludic tour of Little Burgundy and Saint-Henri in Montreal, where you'll solve riddles hidden in the holiday decorations of the neighborhood businesses.
The game is designed in collaboration with SDC Les Quartiers du Canal.
ABOUT THE GAME
NO RESERVATION REQUIRED
The game is completely free and no reservation is required.
Simply arrive at the first stop, A/Maze Atwater during the opening hours, where a Game Master will explain the rules.
OUTDOOR
Keep in mind, this is an outdoor game. It is happening outside within a 1 km radius from the start point, so dress warmly. You should plan 40-50 minutes to finish the game.
FAMILY GAME
The game is designed for younger players and their families. Experienced escape game players will still have fun, but the game might be too easy (maybe).
New Version
This is the second edition of the game Winter Store Fronts and it has all completely new puzzles. The route is similar to last year, but the game has different start and ending points.
To solve the puzzles you will need a journal which will be given to you at the starting point. You can find the digital version of the journal right here.
MORE INSTRUCTIONS
To play the game you will need an account on the BrainRace website.
Once you have an account, arrive at A/Maze Atwater to find your mission.
Make sure to arrive during the opening hours of A/Maze Atwater.
There is no time limit. Once you start the game, you can finish the game whenever you want.
You will need to use your cellphone during the game, so make sure it is charged.
You will input all answers and get hints via the BrainRace system.
Dress warmly. The game is outside.
At the end of the game you will need to make a wish, so make sure to prepare it before.
Participating businesses will have the following visual on their window.

The full game is 1.2 km long. The game starts at A/Maze Atwater and ends at the Parc Sainte-Cunégonde.

A charged cell phone with access to the internet through data. Since the game is taking place outside, be sure to wear warm clothes.
