On July 10th 1856, in Serbia, a genius like no other came to be. From his early years, Nikola Tesla was already a prodigy, capable of performing integral calculus in his head and finishing his high-school degree earlier than his classmates. Quickly, he became an inventor like no other. He’s responsible for countless wonders such as the alternating current which, to this day, powers our homes. He was the forefather of the radio, the radar, x-rays… Basically, any invention with an “r” in it, he played a pivotal role in creating. He could memorize entire books, spoke 8 languages and found a way to harvest electricity straight from the ionosphere!
Unfortunately, Tesla did not get the recognition he deserved. His inventions were stolen, copied and made to be forgotten. Knowing that he couldn’t trust the people around him to care for his machines as he had, he hid them away in a secret office in Montreal. One day would come the ones who could enter his study and discover these wonders. At least, that’s what he thought. He encrypted riddles, puzzles and enigmas within the room, so that only those who could crack them would have access to mankinds’ greatest lost knowledge.
But when he died, the office was forgotten. The building was sold. A restaurant lies there now, underneath the study on the second floor. You have been contacted by one of their employees. Something strange is going on… The power keeps fluctuating, the lights turn on and off, and some weird noises are coming out of the radio. Could his machines be waking up?
