WHAT IS IT

Escape Games are adventures where players solve a series of riddles and puzzles using observation, creative and logical thinking as well as teamwork. Participants are given a set time limit to accomplish the mission or escape. Games are set in a variety of fictional locations, such as a laboratory, a magic academy, a lost temple and include the various puzzles and riddles of the theme. Everyone gets to be involved and help out for the common goal.

We at A/Maze believe that escape game is a great way to learn something new, challenge yourself and have fun a the same time.

WHY PLAY AN ESCAPE GAME?

Escape games are an excellent way to promote learning and knowledge while having fun! The games are created in a way for players to have to think outside of the box, to use their logic and observation skills, to work as a team and to try and find the most efficient way to get a task accomplished. In escape games, everybody gets to participate and there is always something to be done. Hidden talents will be revealed and everyone will come out having learned something new about their friends. It's a fun and engaging way to promote learning!

WHO CAN PLAY?

An escape game is not an easy task. It requires concentration, logic and thinking outside of the box. The minimum age to play the games alone is 13 years old. However, no matter the age, everyone has fun. Usually, the younger kids are the ones who find all the hidden objects and teachers or older kids are the ones who try to figure out how to use them. With groups of younger teens, we also try to give more help, as our main objective is to make everyone have fun throughout the challenges.

It's A/Mazing

Established in 2014, A/Maze Escape Game is the leader of the escape game industry in Montreal. With four locations around the city, we are proud to have organised multiple events with shools, cadets and camps over the years. With a careful approach to each event, we believe that in order to create a lasting bond and to encourage the passion for knowledge, there is nothing better than an escape game!

A/Maze Atwater is located on St-Jacques street, only a few minutes walk away from Lionel-Groulx metro. Situated inside an antique machinery depot, the location incorporates the architecture of the building to give a realistic look to its 5 unique games. The location can fit up to 50 people for an event.
